Sports Vision is the practice of examining and managing the visual needs of a patient.
It includes:

One of our main goals in sports vision is to slow the game around you by speeding up your visual processing time.

Vision provides the athlete information about where and when to perform

where to go, how to react, things that cannot be trained by lifting weights at the gym.

80% of information we get around us is from the eyes (visual).
Starting with a vision performance evaluation we then go on to create an individual vision performance enhancing plans focusing on things such as Eye-Hand coordination,
Depth Perception, eye movements, decision making, peripheral vision and eye body awareness. We have worked with many athletes across many sports from Hockey, baseball, Football, golf to Olympic Skeet Shooting and high jump.

Sports Vision Evaluation
Done with our sports vision trainer. This will test your eye-hand coordination quickness, motor reflexes and eye tracking.It will also help identify any visual weaknesses or breakdowns when you become visually fatigued during a game.
Customized report
A customized report will be generated with your visual strengths, weaknesses, and next steps.You will be compared to other various athletes in your specific sport and given tips and recommendations on how to maximize your vision to get the most out of your performance.

Peripheral vision awareness training (PVA) - Locate the ball or puck better especially when it’s not directly in front of you. PVA training has also shown to reduce the incidence of blindside hits and concussions.

Motor reflex training (MRT)- how fast is your reaction time? With MRT training we can improve your ability to react faster in a sports environment, improving you save %, batting average, catching, goal scoring and overall sports performance

Eye focusing and eye teaming training – follow the puck or ball better as it comes at you from a distance, as your eyes fatigue your eye focus and teaming tends to breakdown. Improve your eye muscle stamina and see the results later in games.

Eye tracking training- You have heard the cliché keep your eye on the ball or the puck, with eye tracking activities we focus in on that and improve your oculomotor system so that you can track an object smoothly and effectively.

Sports specific eye-hand coordination/balance activities- Balance and coordinating is essential in all sports and these activities will improve your eye hand coordination with distractions all while making sure your balance is optimal.

Our most popular package- improve and train essential visual skills over your off season/or during your season. We will customize this package to work on your visual skills that need improvement.
